우리 앞에 놓인 아름답고 선한 것을 보기

 

 

 

우리는 우리가 찾는 선물을 발견하기 위해 멀리 가지 않아도 된다. 우리가 있는 바로 그곳의 아름답고 선한 것이 있다. 우리가 아름다운 것과 선한 것을 보고자 할 때면 단지 우리가 우리의 먼 여행에 있는 아름답고 선한 것의 인식을 닫아야 한다. 즐기기 위한 꽃과 나무가 감탄할 만한 그림과 조각이 있다. 대부분은 웃고, 놀고, 친절과 상냥함을 보여주는 사람들이다. 그들은 우리를 모두 둘러싸고, 감사로 받을 수 있는 자유로운 선물로 인식해야 한다.

 

우리의 유혹은 우리가 우리의 계획을 사용할 도움이 되는 정보로서 우리를 둘러싼 모든 아름다움과 선한 것을 선택하는 것이다. 그러나 우리가 이것을 즐길 수 없을 때, 우리는 곧 우리가 우리자신을 회복하기 위해 휴가가 필요하다는 것을 발견하게 된다. 우리가 어디론가 이것을 찾아가기 전 우리 앞의 아름다움과 선함을 보기 위해 노력하도록 하자.

Seeing the Beauty and Goodness in Front of Us

 

 

We don't have to go far to find the treasure we are seeking. There is beauty and goodness right where we are. And only when we can see the beauty and goodness that are close by can we recognize beauty and goodness on our travels far and wide. There are trees and flowers to enjoy, painting and sculptures to admire: most of all there are people who smile, play, and show kindness and gentleness. They are all around us, to be recognized as free gifts to receive in gratitude.

Our temptation is to collect all the beauty and goodness surrounding us as helpful information we can use for our projects. But then we cannot enjoy it, and we soon find that we need a vacation to restore ourselves. Let's try to see the beauty and goodness in front of us before we go elsewhere to look for it.
