The Spirit of Jesus Listening in Us

 

Listening in the spiritual life is much more than a psychological strategy to help others discover themselves. In the spiritual life the listener is not the ego, which would like to speak but is trained to restrain itself, but the Spirit of God within us. When we are baptized in the Spirit - that is, when we have received the Spirit of Jesus as the breath of God breathing within us - that Spirit crates in us a sacred space where the other can be received and listened to. The Spirit of Jesus prays in us and listens in us to all who come to us with their sufferings and pains.

When we dare to trust fully in the power of God's Spirit listening in us, we will see true healing occur.

우리 안에서 경청하시는 예수의 영

 

영적인 삶의 경청은 심리학적인 전략으로 다른 사람이 그들 스스로를 발견하도록 돕는 것보다 더 많은 것이다. 영적인 삶 안에서 경청자는 에고(Ego)가 아닌데, 이것은 말하려고 하는 것으로 그러나, 자신을 잡아 당기기 위해 훈련하기는 것이며, 하나님의 영이 우리 안에 계시는 것이다. 우리가 성령 안에서 세례를 받을 때 - 그것은, 우리가 우리 안에 숨 쉬시는 하나님의 숨결로서 예수의 영을 받아 들일 때 - 성령은 우리 안에 신성한 공간을 채워 넣고 그곳은 다른 사람이 받아들여지고, 들려질 수 있는 곳이다. 예수의 영은 우리 안에서 기도하고 우리 안에서 듣고 우리가 그들의 아픔과 고통 모두에 갈수 있도록 한다.

우리가 하나님의 영의 경청이 우리 안에 힘으로 가득하기를 진심으로 원할 때, 우리는 진실한 치유의 발생을 보게 될 것이다.
