God's Help Is Near

 

 

The Lord is close to everyone who prays to him, to all who truly pray to him

Psalm 145:18

 

 

 

Healing beings when we do something. Healing begins when we reach out. Healing starts when we take a step. God's help is near and always available, but it is only given to those who seek it. Nothing results from apathy... God honor radical, risk-taking faith. When arks are bulit, lives are saved. When soldiers march, Jerichos tumble, When step are raised, seas still open. When a lunch is shared, thousands are fed. And when a garment is touched - whether by the hand of an anemic woman in Galilee or by the prayers of a beggar in Bangladesh - Jesus stops. He stops and responds.   - He Still Moves Stones

Words     apathy - 무감동, 냉담 risk-taking - 위험부담 tumble - 넘어지다. 굴리다. 추락하다 garment - 의복, 외피 anemic - 빈혈

Interpreter. Kwangyoung Kim     치유는 우리가 뭔가 할 때 시작이 된다. 치유는 우리가 발돋움 할 때 시작된다. 치유는 우리가 발걸음 내디딜 때 시작된다. 하나님의 도움은 가까이 있고 항상 가능하다. 그러나, 이것은 단지 그것을 구하는 자에게만 주어진다. 냉담으로 부터의 결과는 아무것도 없을 뿐... 하나님의 호의는 급진적이며, 위험부담이 있는 믿음이다. 방주가 지어졌을 때, 생명들이 구원받았다. 군인들이 행진했을 때, 여리고는 굴러 내렸다. 발걸음이 일어설 때, 바다는 열려진다. 점심식사가 나누어질 때, 수천 명이 먹었다. 그리고 외투가 만져졌을 때 - 갈릴리의 혈루병든 여인의 손에 의한 것이든 혹은 방글라디ㅔ시의 걸인들의 기도에 의한 것이든 - 예수님은 멈추신다. 그는 멈추시고 반응하신다. - 그는 여전히 돌을 움직이신다.
